School for Social Entrepreneurs
Founded in 1997 in London, England, the School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) was created to assist everyday people in launching a social purpose business, non-profit organization, cooperative, or social venture for the benefit of their community. SSE came to Canada in 2012, making it one of the newest members of a thriving international network of 20 SSE schools worldwide.

Our mission is to address inequalities and social exclusion by supporting social entrepreneurs from all backgrounds. At the SSE we work to transform our students’ talent into real social and environmental outcomes. Social entrepreneurs who study with us create sustainable solutions to poverty and disadvantage in communities.
Our core values in all aspects of work are integrity, inclusivity, and empowerment. The SSE delivers results-focused training, inspiring students from all backgrounds to succeed.
