Plant your Future is a pioneering and innovative, not-for-profit charity working at the grassroots level in Peru with poor farmers in the Amazon basin.
We help Peruvian farmers to plant crops and native fruit and timber tree species on deforested land, and to sell their products. This will ensure the land is used sustainably, provide the farmers with short-, medium- and long-term income, and discourage further deforestation. Our work helps to mitigate climate change, and will generate carbon credits which will be sold to assist with project implementation costs and supplement farmers incomes.
Our aims are to fight poverty, combat global climate change, and protect one of the most biodiverse regions in the world.
