The Chamber strongly believes in its social responsibility being an important part of business philosophy. The PHD Rural development Foundation is the social arm of the PHD Chamber, and is tasked with extending the Chamber's contributions to the public good through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The initiatives are designed to ensure that any corporate donor embody the principles of CSR as per section VII of Company’s Act 2013. Foundation takes appropriate initiatives in the areas of Healthcare & Sanitation, Education, Skill Development and Water Harvesting.
PHDRDF seeks to empower individuals and community at large by providing them with the support they need to affect change in their own environment for social and economic development. Welfare measures target people inhabiting villages in the backward corners of our country barring the boundaries so as to ensure poorer section of society derive the maximum benefits. The Foundation commits to contribute to the society by way of generating social and cultural awareness to improve the welfare and livelihood of people inhabiting the area.
