Ministry of Planning and Investment

The Ministry of Planning and Investment (Vietnam) is a government agency which performs the functions of state management over planning, development investment, and statistics. The agency provides, among others, strategic advice for country-level socio-economic development. It also programs and plans economic management mechanisms and policies for the national economy, for specific sectors as well as for domestic and foreign investments.

The Ministry of Planning and Investment is responsible for undertaking the Climate Public Expenditure and Investment Review, which also makes recommendations on how to strengthen climate change planning and budgeting across Government ministries.
