Met Office research and development covers a broad spectrum of scientific disciplines and applications. The Climate Impacts group work on investigating the impacts of climate change and variability on Earth and human systems. In the CIRCE project this included water resources modelling and integrating climate impacts information into advice on regional adaptation strategies in the Mediterranean region.
