Lagos State University – also known as LASU – was established in 1983 for the advancement of learning and establishment of academic excellence. The university caters for a population of over 35,000 students enrolled full-time and offers diploma, degree and post graduate programmes including a MBA programme. The University is located in Ojo, a town in Lagos State, Nigeria, West Africa,

Nigeria is one of the most vulnerable national economies to climate change and Lagos State can be correctly classified as a ‘hotspot’ because of its low-lying coast prone to erosion, sea level rise, floods etc. I intend to apply knowledge and skills gained from a recent training on climate change adaptations on food security and natural resource management to fisheries in the context of food security and as livelihoods.
