We are leaders in the use of Participatory Video as a tool for individuals and groups to grow in self-confidence and trust, and to build skills to act for change. Our Participatory Video methods value local knowledge, build bridges between communities and decision-makers, and enable people to develop greater control over the decisions affecting their lives. Of our work, the 'Conversations with the Earth' (CWE) programme has most in common with the aims of the weADAPT platform. CWE aims to amplify the voices of indigenous groups in the global climate change debate. The programme also aims to enhance their capacity to shift their circumstances locally and as a community and establish greater agency and confidence in advocating to local/national government for recognition of their rights.
