The National Parks Administration is the body in charge of designing, conducting and controlling the execution of the necessary policies to conserve and manage the National Parks, Natural Monuments and National Reserves, in order to ensure the integrity of the natural resources, the physiographic characteristics and the environmental quality of human settlements; It also promotes the creation of new protected areas.
