The Jujuy Model Forest Association was created in 2002 to administer the Model Forest Program in the Jujuy province of Argentina. We are a civil non-profit organization with legal status. The association consists of a Board of Directors, Monitoring body, Technical Team and an Institutional Directory composed of 25 entities that support the program. These entities have joined the Jujuy Model Forest program by signing agreements and acts, committing to work in solidarity and shared effort.

The EcoAdapt project assisted South American communities in developing their ecosystem-based adaptation strategies.
