Samraj Sahay


Ph.D from university of Delhi, India, has carried research on impacts of climate change on public health (dengue incidence) and economic evaluation of  the coping strategies adopted by households in Delhi. Other prominent research includes risk assessment in Hindu Kush Himalyan (HKH) region and and cost-benefit analysis of adaptation measures in high flood risk areas of Himalyan river valley.

His reasearch area includes Economics of climate change adaptation in the urban areas, rural areas ; in particular river basins, climate change and health issues and evaluation of households coping capcity in building resillience for the community and their adaptive capacity.
