Mr. Noah Chongo, Founder of Climate Protection Zambia (CPZ) is a Development Practitioner, Researcher, and Environmental Conservationist. He has studied an Advanced Leadership Professional Certificate in Quality Management from Saarbrucken University of Applied Sciences in Germany, Development Studies Degree from The University of Zambia and a Masters in Environmental Management from University of Lusaka . Noah has supervised projects in the areas of Forest Landscape Restoration, Pilot Programme for Climate Resilience in Zambia, Governance Assessment of Protects Areas, Supporting Indigenous and Local Community Conservation Territories and Areas (ICCAs) in Zambia and Investigating on the Impact of Climate Change on Fishery Ecosystems and Livelihoods, in Nchelenge district in the Luapula Province of Zambia. He has more than 10 years of research experience in Climate Change adaptation and resilience initiatives, Forest Restoration, Industrial Ecology, and Environmental Management, He is the past Executive Director for the Zambia Community Based Natural Resources Management (ZCBNRM) national platform in Zambia. Noah is currently exploring on studying his PhD in Sustainability and Socio-ecological systems.
