Joanna Martin

I am a British trained ITV and BBC journalist with over 12 years of experience in sub-Saharan Africa working in TV, radio, video production and print. I have a UK Master's degree in Broadcast Journalism and work mainly with NGOs, embassies and UN agencies, as well as large news corporations.

I manage several media and publicity campaigns in Africa. Currently I am the Visibility and Communications expert for the Global Climate Change Alliance in Tanzania, funded by the European Union. I have also recently worked on a USAID stabilisation programme, focussing on media ethics and strengthening national TV, radio and print output for the Ministry of Information in Somaliland.
