Manager, climate change adaptation

I work for Conservation International as a manager for climate change adaptation. I am currently working on two large projects funded by the German government, through its International climate initiative. One of those projects is implementing Ecosystem-based adaptation in marine, terrestrial and coastal regions of Brazil, Philippines and South Africa, countries that have strong track records, partners and relationships with government, as a means of improving livelihoods and conserving biodiversity in the face of climate change.  The other project, which has been developed in partnership with CATIE, is identifying and testing Ecosystem-based Adaptation strategies that can help farmers cope with climate change, and building local capacity to support the implementation of these strategies in smallholder farming communities in Costa Rica, Guatemala and Honduras
