In Country Program Representative and DRR Advisor

I am a humanitarian aid worker and practitioner environmental scientist acting in the Gaza Strip/ State of Palestine. I am the Program, Representative of Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe for Gaza. I have a Ph.D. in environmental science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. My Dissertation was on drivers of climate change risk perception and policy support among Nevada ranchers and farmers. I have also worked with Nevada Native Americans on the same issues. Working with Diakonie Katastrophnehilfe, I am leading their Community-based Disaster Risk Management and Disaster Risk Reduction, emergency response, and livelihoods programs in the Gaza Strip.
