This collaborative project brings together partners from developed and developing countries to build capacity on climate change.

SEI has been working closely with ENDA Tiers Monde, the University of Cape Town, UNITAR and the South Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP). The first year of the project has focused on capacity-building activities around climate risk communication and using climate information in adaptation planning.

Highlights from the project include the very successful Winter School held at the University of Cape Town, training carried out with ENDA in Senegal, guidance for development practitioners on the process of risk communication and technical support of community-based adaptation projects. We are also working to share information between partners using weADAPT.
