Request: mini-survey to identify ‘low cost resilience actions for volunteers’

Dear CBA practioners,

Could I please ask for your help to contribute to a research to identify the top 10 most effective low-cost CCA actions that can be implemented by community volunteers!

Please click on this link to contribute to this quick mini-survey before 12 noon (GMT) on Tuesday July 9th 2019.

It will take you less than 5 minutes!

The British Red Cross and IFRC Livelihood Centre have launched an important new initiative to produce a user friendly ‘how-to-guide’ (booklet) for volunteers that contains the top-ten, tried and tested, low-cost, low-tech actions to reduce hunger and improve the lives of poor households living in disaster prone contexts that are increasingly impacted by climate change.

Please tell us what you think are the most effective low-cost actions that could be implemented by community volunteers with access to very limited funding and outside technical support. The focus is on Southern and Eastern Africa but we also welcome insights from other related contexts.

Please feel free to forward the survey link to any of your counterparts in Southern and Eastern Africa. Many thanks!

A BIG thank you from the British Red Cross and IFRC Livelihoods Centre team!

Sorry for any cross posting.

Kind regards,

Caroline
