NAP-Ag Webinar: Mainstreaming gender in adaptation planning for the agriculture sectors

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), through the NAP-Ag Programme, is pleased to invite you to the webinar on “Mainstreaming gender in climate change adaptation plans for the agriculture sectors” which will be held on Thursday, 15 December from 15:00-16:30 (CET-Rome). The objectives of the webinar are to:

• To raise awareness of the gender mainstreaming approach and gender-sensitive activities of the NAP-Ag programme;
• To present concrete examples of how gender is being integrated into international (UNFCCC) and national climate change adaptation planning in agriculture; and

• To facilitate the sharing of lessons and questions about gender equality, climate change adaptation planning, and agriculture which can inform activities under NAP-Ag and similar approaches.
