ECCA 2019 call for abstracts is open!

The 2019 European Climate Change Adaptation conference in Lisbon (28-31 May) is an opportunity to share and learn from professionals in adaptation, while discovering new products and research as well as alternative approaches to engaging with stakeholders.

ECCA’s organisational committee invite submissions of abstracts for both full sessions and presentations for the 2019 European Climate Change Adaptation conference. All session and abstract submissions should link to one of the conference themes (see below).

  • Two presentation formats will be available: Oral and poster – guidelines
  • Two types of sessions will be organised: Science and Science-practice – guidelines
    • Science sessions (presenting advances in scientific methods, tools and findings relevant to climate adaptation and/or disaster risk reduction);
    • Science-practice sessions (to enhance engagement and learning between science and practice including relevant connections with policy and society).

Abstracts are welcomed from researchers, practitioners, policy-makers, decision-makers, managers and technicians from academia, public and private sectors.

The deadline for abstracts submissions is 31 October 2018. Find out more here: https://www.ecca2019.eu/abstract-submission/
