The CBA16 planning team is pleased to announce that CBA16 will take place on 3 – 4 October 2022. CBA16 is a conference focusing on Community-Based Adaptation. In the lead up to this two-day digital conference in October we will also be holding an online event as part of London Climate Action Week from 29 June – 3 July 2022.
This year CBA16 will be focussing on the Principles for Locally Led Adaptation. CBA’s dialogue-based sessions will explore what the principles mean for practitioners, how we can bring them to life at the local level, and how we continue to build momentum towards COP27.
Stay tuned for more updates on what to expect from CBA this year and how you can participate. In the meantime, you can catch up with the discussions from last year's digital conference on the CBA15 YouTube playlist and download the key messages from the conference.
As we prepare for CBA16 there are lots of ways to get involved. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to become a CBA partner.
CBA is funded and organised by the Climate Justice Resilience Fund, Irish Aid, the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), the Global Resilience Partnership, CARE, Practical Action and the Green Africa Youth Organisation.
