BRACED webinar: Key Findings from IPCC’s Special Report on 1.5 Degrees

Wednesday, November 14, 2018 1:00:00 PM GMT – 2:00:00 PM GMT

The Special Report on 1.5 Degrees released by the IPCC in October outlines pathways to limiting warming to 1.5 degrees. It also warns of the dangers associated with warming of 1.5 degrees and beyond including impacts to human health, natural and environmental systems, urban areas and industry. This webinar will share the key findings from the report from an adaptation lens, focusing on expected impacts and their timing in Africa and Asia. We will invite a discussion on the practical implications of the report for resilience programming, with a particular focus on urban areas which are risk hotspots.
