Mitigating the impacts of climate change

Activities

The project aims minimize the impact of flooding and drought by strengthening drought and flood mitigation among rural poor in the district and reduce the loss of academic days of the children in schools due to disaster. By climate proofing community infrastructure through soil, land and water management, reforestation, community capacity building and local level advocacy, livelihood alternatives and diversification and awareness raising this project will reduce people's vulnerability to disasters.
